Lot 216 - 2009 Carneros Sonoma County Chardonnay - Pale golden color with great clarity. Presenting a marvelous bouquet of ripe white peach, golden nectarine, and white flower, this wine is rich with smoky oak and peachy character. It's crisp and quenching with energizing acidity, offering tiers of jovial fruit. Above the merriment of this wine is serious juice, offering a great palate. Drink this now, and enjoy through the spring and summertime.

Lot 249 - 2009 Alexander Valley Meritage - Classically built with cassis, licorice, tobacco, black currant, earth and bay leaf. A velvety-textured richness on the palate combine with subtly nuanced oak. With classic dusty rutherford qualities and fine-grained tannins, this wine offers great value from a region producing top Bordeaux varietals.

Lot 251 - 2009 Arroyo Seco Monterey County Syrah Grenache Mourvedre - Boasting sweet red fruit overlayed with graphite, espresso, and blackberry. Fresh, dense, rich and elegant, It's a superb take on Rhone blending done California style. This wine plays great acidity off of sweet fruit for a rich yet playful blend.

Lot 275 - 2010 Mendoza Argentina Malbec Reserva - Deep purple, almost black in color with a beautiful violet edge. Ripe cherry and plum on the nose. Full bodied, dark fruit balanced with a kiss of oak make for a bold, balanced Malbec. As some Malbecs tend to fall flat and flabby, this wine presents great acid and fine-grained tannins for a great mid-palate maintaining a long and luscious finish.

Lot 283 - 2009 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon - Featuring a voluminous nose of black and blue fruit, cherry liqueur and cappuccino oak notes. The palate is expansive yet elegant featuring the signature vibrant fruit of the 2009 vintage, hints of black licorice, espresso and a solid core of tannins that stretch the wine out tremendously.

Lot 289 - 2010 Clear Lake Riesling - Beautiful and bright from tip to finish. Lush aromatics of apple, honeyed papaya and orange rind are presented on the nose. Very Mosel-like and off-dry on the palate with great palate weight, but brisk acidity to back it up. Fantastic food wine for salads and Asian cuisine.
