Lot 266 - 2009 Los
Carneros Pinot Noir - Lot 266 is ripe with lavender, violet,
and blackberry aromas. Fruit and powdery floral notes are
interlaced in a silken smooth texture. A splendid Pinot Noir with a
classically Carneros finish of cola and earth. A wonderful buy at
$15.
Lot 263 - 2002 Gran
Reserva Ribera Del Duero Tempranillo - Time has served our Lot
263 2002 Ribera Del Duero Gran Reserva well revealing an incredible
nose of cedar, graphite, licorice, black pepper and sweet cigar
smoke. It has incredibly pure plum fruit and a silken opulent
texture paired with a powerful structure built for aging – this
wine will go another 20 years easy. Fruit and earth meld here
seamlessly and you can actually smell the minerality that runs the
length of this wine.
Lot 249 - 2009
Alexander Valley Meritage - Lot 249 is classically built with
cassis, licorice, tobacco, black currant, earth and bay leaf. A
velvety-textured richness on the palate combine with subtly nuanced
oak. With classic dusty rutherford qualities and fine-grained
tannins, this wine offers great value from a region producing top
Bordeaux varietals.
Lot 247 - 2009 Napa
Valley Cabernet Sauvignon - Lot 247 is an opulent wine with
velvety, silken tannins. Concentrated blackberry and cherry
intertwine with cherry infused fruit. Black licorice, espresso and
integrated oak shimmer in the background of this elegant mountain
fruit Cabernet. With fine-grained tannins and framing acidity, this
wine shows old-world grace and plenty of fruit on the palate.
Lot 243 - 2009 Sonoma
County Zinfandel - Lot 243 is a big, sexy, fruit bomb with
lavish black fruit woven with black pepper and spice. Soft silken
tannins and a gorgeous texture conspire elegantly. Seductive and
succulent with a luxurious finish.
Lot 242 - 2009 Atlas
Peak Chardonnay - Brilliant aromas of citrus oil, green apple,
and hazelnut soar forth. The entry is smooth and the wine
impeccably balanced with pear and white peach flavors backed up
with pretty minerality and excellent length. There is good
dimensionality to this wine and clear aging potential
