<br />Our Winter Sampler is a cozy selection of four wines delectable with all types of winter activities. Receive three bottles each of Lot 35, Lot 78, Lot 115 and Lot 136. These beauties are lush and full bodied and sure to keep you warm.<br /><br /><a href="http://store.chwine.com/Product47">Lot 35 2005 Yountville Cabernet Sauvignon</a>: Black color with purple rim. Wow! Distinctly different nose here. This wine has outstanding overall structure. Tight on the nose, showing hints of blueberry and blackberry with sweet prunes and a hint of eucalyptus. On the palate, a dusty earth emerges with black cherries, currant, tea leaf and sage. Currant fruit and chocolate will emerge over time. Interesting mineral components linger throughout suggesting a more Bordeaux-like structure and long ageing potential. A brilliant, lingering finish offers well integrated tannins with a kiss of vanilla, white pepper and toasty oak.<br /> <br />Lot 78 2006 Barossa Valley Shiraz: An attractive ripe cherry red rim and deep purple core. Aromas are refined with intense forest fruit characters literally leaping out of the glass. With a bit of teasing you will see the white pepper and spice aromas, but be prepared for the mulberry and red currant characters on the palate. A cleansing character of mint leaves and licorice flavors linger and testify that this wine is one that can be put down for quite a few years more if so desired. <br /><br /><a href="http://store.chwine.com/Product180">Lot 115 2007 Russian River Chardonnay</a>: The richest of our latest Russian River Chardonnays, this wine features a brilliant gold hue and equally pretty nose of spicy apple, honey and pears. Deliciously round from oak aging yet sprightly with great overall structure and balance. Finishes with pretty fruit and sweet oak notes. Absolutely delicious.<br /><br /><a href="http://store.chwine.com/Product282">Lot 136 2007 Napa (Rutherford/Oakville) Cabernet Sauvignon:</a> Black wine with a deep purple rim. Delicate French oak accompanied by blackberries and cassis illustrate the balance and sophistication expected of Central Napa. This blend of Rutherford and Oakville Cabernet personifies the classic Rutherford Dust backed by a lush fruit, a hint of bright mint, and a resilient full-body. A seductive fleshiness is steadied by an ideal tannic structure, firm and well integrated. This wine drinks beautifully now and only improves with age. <br /><br /><br /> <br /><br /><br /><br /><br /></p>
