Click the links below to see more detailed notes!<br /><br /><b>Sampler includes one bottle each of the following wines:</b><br /><br /><b><a href="http://chwine.com/wine/lot/72/">Lot 72 2005 Napa Valley Meritage</a></b>: </font>Nose of ripe blackberry with chocolaty oak notes and hints of cassis.
The midpalate is fleshy and ripe with more blackberry and cherry fruit
and undertones of sweet espresso. Overall this wine is rich and round
with medium grain tannins carrying the fruit nicely through the long
finish.<br /><font class="font2"><br /><b><a href="http://chwine.com/wine/lot/75/">Lot 75 2006 Oak Knoll Cabernet</a></b>: </font>Elegant yet powerfully structured on the palate with good minerality
and integrated tannins. While tightly wound, the fruit is just
beginning to peek through. All in all, this one hell of a cabernet and it will age
beautifully.<br /><font class="font2"><br /><b><a href="http://chwine.com/wine/lot/86/">Lot 86 2006 80 Yr. Old Lodi Zinfandel</a></b>: </font>This wine is a basket of plummy red fruits, a little pomegranate,
vanilla oak notes, pepper, and chocolate covered raisins. As this
powerfully structured zinfandel opens up it gains additional complexity
with tobacco and sweet cigar smoke notes. Despite two years in barrel,
this zin is just a baby and will continue to improve in the bottle for
many years to come.<br /><font class="font2"><br /><b><a href="http://chwine.com/wine/lot/92/">Lot 92 2004 Margaret River Chardonnay</a></b>: </font>The nose soars out of the glass with elegantly rendered vanilla, almond
and lemon verbena notes. On the palate the wine is full bodied but well
supported showing spicy nutmeg, butterscotch and almond. What's amazing
about this wine is its structure, everything's in perfect balance.<br /><font class="font2"><br /><b><a href="http://chwine.com/wine/lot/93/">Lot 93 2004 Tempranillo Rioja </a></b>: </font>The wine soars across your palate with immense complexity mingling
chocolate, earth, and licorice gumdrops. It's massively structured,
intense and concentrated with big, grainy tannins perfectly melded to a
mineral component, cigar smoke, toffee and earthy fruit. The finish
goes on and on for 2-3 minutes with excellent focus and concentration.
Magnificent.<br /><font class="font2"><br /><b><a href="http://chwine.com/wine/lot/98/">Lot 98 2007 Campo De Borja, Spain Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre Blend</a></b>: </font>On the palate this wine is rich with blackberry compote, racy cherry
fruit, and noticeable black pepper. There is a solid block of tannins
backing up this wine but they are well integrated with the long, spicy
finish. It doesn't take a lot, but a little air loosens this wine up
and it will continue to improve in the bottle.<br /><br /><font class="font2"><font class="font2"><font class="font2"><b>*The Snooth Sampler is a Special Promotion.
