The aromatics are well defined and complex, with a strong backbone of minerality that tickles the nose. On the palate, broad and lush with intense lemon, grapefruit, and spicy oak. Highly structured, this wine has probably the best aging potential of any Chardonnay we have offered (in fact, it's what its parent winery is known for).<br /><br /><a href="http://store.chwine.com/Product210">Lot 110 2007 Los Carneros Pinot Noir</a>: Aromas of strawberry and creamy raspberry with hints of earth. On the palate, this wine sings with vibrant acidity and potent strawberry/raspberry flavors. With one foot in the new world and one in the old world, this amply packed Pinot is underscored with hints of dark chocolate and clove spice, all leading to a long finish of soft tannins and lingering berry fruit.<br /><br /><a href="http://store.chwine.com/Product223">Lot 120 2006 Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon:</a> Black/dark-red color. A structured, almost concave nose that draws you down into the glass. Dusty mocha, vibrant cassis, and ripe blackberry on the nose with a chewy mid-palate of rich blackberry/blueberry fruit, plush mouthfeel, and bold tannins in a finish of dark chocolate and cassis. Fantastic!<br /><br /><a href="http://store.chwine.com/Product246">Lot 129 2007 Campo De Borja Garnacha</a>: Displaying strong red cherry and violet hues, this wine is promptly aromatic and fruit-intense. Concentrated aromas of blackberry and brambly fruits are present with separated nuances, spaced and lively.
